I’ve been mostly listening to Rose Cousins‘ “if you were for me” for days. It’s wistful, lonely, hopeful, comforting and bleak. It’s also pleasantly, mostly acoustic, making it resemble her live performance much more than most of the folk CDs I’ve heard. Go get it.
