I found by clicking pause-pause really quick, I can get them in sync, and won't even really notice the actual video pause. I don't remember if it slides out of sync again. Please let me know if you figure this one out - because I'm finding myself using mythvideo a lot, now that my mythbox has enough CPU power to run mplayer! thanks Shade.
